‘B’ is for Barbie and ‘M’ is for MakieDolls

The toy department in Selfridges brings me so much happiness and nostalgic memories, a place where I can learn about my childhood past and even explore who the ‘new kids on the block’ are !

One of my favourite dolls as a kid, like any other little girl was definitely Barbie (after all these years she still looks the same ,incredible!)

How beautiful are these limited edition Barbie dolls? The Bride Barbie is absolutely flawless.

So who are the ‘new kids on the block’ ? MakiesDolls are the world’s first fully customisable 3D printed toy.

The difference with these dolls are that they are designed and made in England. Using high quality 3-d printers. Each one is unique as you can even create your own doll online.

Not only are these dolls full customisable, they are also kind to the environment too according to the Makies website ‘Makies are produced in London by folks who believe in sustainability and local production. Their bodies are 3D printed in the UK and Amsterdam, and the process is highly efficient and waste-free. Their clothes are made by hand in MakieLab’s workshop, and even their packaging is sourced in the UK.’

On the day,I was also lucky enough to receive a pair of freshly printed Makies shoes , all I need now is the doll itself.

Hopefully I’ll own one someday 🙂

Tea recipe *Honey ice tea* “It isn’t only Winnie the Pooh who loves honey

 Made some ice tea to survive the Summer heat~

 All you need: –

1.Your favourite glass, I’ve used my new tea bottle 🙂

2.Ginger & lemon tea bag (from Teapigs)

3.Teaspoon of honey

4.Ice water

Easy peasy Method:

1. Add hot water just enough to cover the teabag, steep for 3 minutes

2.Add a teaspoon of honey

3.Add ice water

4.Lastly, stir everything together

walaaah~ enjoy your quick and easy ice tea! Ps if you’re suffering a sore throat you can also try this hot . Best wishes Sewwie ♥

I’m looking forward to try the red date and Longan tea. As the longan (looks similar to a peeled grape) is a super fruit known to improve eye function, relieve stress and give skin the natural glow a super tonic for the heart. For red dates ‘Medical studies have found that jujube fruits and extracts have the capacity help lower blood pressure, reverse liver disease, treat anemia, and inhibit the growth of tumor cells that can lead to leukemia. Jujube extracts are also used in skin care products used to diminish wrinkles, relieve dry skin, and treat sunburn pain’

Tea recipe *Rose milk tea*

Perfect for taking a well deserved break ~  If you like earl grey tea then you’ll like this too as it’s full of floral aromas.So lovely ♡

You will need:

1.Your favorite mug

2.Teaspoon of Lotus rose tea mine are ‘Tea from the manor’

3. Add hot water and brew for 3 mins

4. Just add milk

5. add extra rose buds if you wish (optional)

Put on your favorite music,relax and enjoy ♥ P.s Try this cold for the summer weather , just add a few cubes of ice Best wishes Sewwie♥
